Iron Mechanical expands its HVAC offerings into the commercial retail sector with its acquisition of Buffalo’s Mechanical
Ripon, CA – February 19, 2025 – Buffalo’s Mechanical, Inc., (“BM”), a leading regional provider of retail and commercial HVAC installation, replacement and repair services throughout Northern and Central California, has been sold to state-wide mechanical and design-build construction company Iron Mechanical, Inc., (IM”) it was announced today.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Gold Country Advisors, a sell-side merger-and-acquisition advisory firm in Folsom, CA, represented the owner of Buffalo’s Mechanical in the transaction.
Iron Mechanical is a leading HVAC, plumbing, piping, design and installation company serving the public and private sector. Iron Mechanical provides new construction, special project, and service support to a wide range of facilities including multi-family high-rises, schools, hospitals, and hotels. Iron Mechanical has offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles and is licensed in several west coast states.
Buffalo’s Mechanical is a “go to” HVAC firm for Northern California and the Central Valley’s most respected general contractors who specialize in retail development for some of America’s marquee retail brands. BM also provides on-going HVAC replacement services for national property management groups in the region.

Both Iron Mechanical and Buffalo are family-owned businesses with shared values. BM founder/owner Jason Buffalow grew up in the HVAC business with this grandfather and father. When he started his Company in 1995 from his Silicon Valley condominium, his vision was simple: “Provide quality HVAC work on time and at a competitive price.”
